How we calculate this
Officer-hours saved is officers multiplied by shifts per year, at the YRP-proven floor of 60 minutes saved per officer per shift. Time value uses an hourly cost of salary divided by 2,080. Defaults follow YRP’s model: 60 minutes per shift (their officers report closer to two hours) and 165 shifts per year. Projections are shown before inflation.
